The Coastal Arts Academy Spring Session lessons and classes are suspended until further notice. The Salvation Army follows Lincoln County School District recommendations as it relates to closures.

The Salvation Army Coastal Arts Academy is a weekly youth outreach program for children in Lincoln County. Children 1st through 8th grade are encouraged to enroll. A concert featuring the students is held at the conclusion of each 10-week session. Depending on the calendar year, classes are offered for the following programs:

• Brass Band
• Vocal/Singing
• Timbrels
• Piano
• Drama
• Visual Arts (Painting)

In cooperation with Newport Schools, local bus stops near The Salvation Army are available for elementary and middle school students. Call the Lincoln County School District Office for more information.

Scholarships are available for program participants. Instruments and supplies are provided for use by students currently enrolled.
